THE FIGHTER BY KEITH URBAN FT CARRIE UNDERWOOD

It is really no news in this world. People all over the globe have become fighters in various spheres because they have been tested by family and people they call friends. They know that to be even with all these things that most times clamps on the very being of one’s mind- something which most times deadens the sense and allows for crazy thoughts- they must fight it! Yes. They must fight it if living is still a priority. Hence, the need to put on a fighter’s will.

WANT A HUG?

To be a fighter does not necessarily means that you have to use your fist and give jabs on the face of another in anger. No! It is beyond that. As writers, we have faced trials that would ordinarily and speedily have made us throw in the towel but we are too damn tough for defeat on the basis of cotton. The dream is bigger.

WHAT’S CREDIBILITY?

Today, I fought with the words of my mouth and it was damn swift and sweet. I fought until tears gushed down the eyes of my audience. It was sweet victory. All I want to do today is appeal to that fighter inside of you.

Stop sulking. Stand up. Speak up. Don’t allow anyone rubbish your art and not get a jab or hard punch to the face with the same words he/she read or heard.

DO YOU FEEL WORTHY?

Believe in your art and it’ll live.

Personal research shows that most young writers as well as those advanced in age face esteem issues in the art of writing. It may surprise you but it is the truth. Most people are scared of sharing their art to friends talk more of the world.

Not too long ago, a friend of mine on Twitter posted a poem and we got the chance of extending the conversation to a very soulful dialogue. She told me that she does not post her poems because of what people say and do not say about it.

The latter suggests the low outcome of likes and retweet on Twitter when she posts such poems. In my previous article, http://dailywisdomwords.com/daily-wisdom-words/why-you-need-a-writing-community-by-abuh-monday-eneojo/ , i talked about some reasons why people may not want to consider your art. You may want to check it out.

For me, considering the statistics of people who react to my art is quintessential but i don’t let it deaden my art for any reason- it just is not worth it. Why worry? I’m passed that already. Believe in your art and it’ll live! You don’t need people to first affirm the ingenuity you carry in your art.

Believe in your art and it’ll live in you. Then and only then will it extend like wild fire to others. Cheer up! You’re one great writer. There’s none like you.
