Hello,
I bring to you another inspiring picture that not only deserves a stare but also a poem.
I’ll be waiting for your poem with the following words; 1. Time 2. Life

Life piles up
Stacked in years
First blocks
Then bricks
Cumulative weights that start to bend and bow the strength of one who once stood tall
Now filed down
Filed away
Until the skin is paper thin
Then soft as silk
Draped over bones
Like a shroud
Time passing in minute breaths
Thanks for posting it here…love it
There isn’t time
On the clock
Life passed me by
Didn’t give it much thought
Now I’m sick
I move towards light
Sadly accepting
My struggling fight
Can’t go back
Now I feel peace
Looking at stars
Waiting relieved
I’m going to God
Joy fills me
A final journey
Then I am free
True. We definitely can’t re-live the past. All we can do is look forward to the future.
Tic-toc
Look how
Fast time goes
As I watch
My kids go
from Newborns
To adults
I look at
The clock
It broke
It was
Moving
So fast
Hey where’d
Those wrinkles
Come from
I still feel
22
Why must
Time fly
When you’re
Are having
fun
I guess
That’s life
Ouch my
Back
Love this!
Time is the age of life
We grow in life mature with age
Life is like a fine wine
Matures with age
-KARL WOMACK
Could of frozen the banks pulling mortgages
the evictions and shut offs
could of rolled over the interest to the end of a loan
could of ordered PPE
wherever is a home
could of saved the people from the coming doom
given more to the Navajo than body bags
helped communities with everything they had
Naw they stand proud and tall
justifying the dead
excuses for all
time to put out a clock and a ventilator
a life out to pasture
hide the refrigerated trucks and coffins
excuses & appearances are all that matter
The Clowns and sharks that run the land
in fine suits of silk and linens
gather behind newsmen pretending to not be lying
while pushing a rich mans agenda.
