She bleeds love,
dripping sweat to get
a glove on the hands
of bands and boxes
where foxes steal
her resolve,
but she revolves
around the tiny feet
to eyes she has
to care for minus
the wolf who left her.

She is strong, beautiful,
dutiful and diligent;
resilient and fierce,
and as a woman,
defines what empowered
means …

She bleeds love,
and that is the
heart of lady.
