HUGGING THE WORLD

Different eyes see different perspectives in different situations.

Hi dear friends and members,

It’s an honor this week to guest host @mondaydpoet’s Picture Poetry series.

Take a look at today’s featured image. I had designed it as a digital art piece for a very specific purpose. But when I showed it to some people, independent of the endeavor I was working on, everyone had a different interpretation of what it could be for?

What do you think about it? What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you look at it?

  1. Mother earth
    The chains that bind
    You are starting to hurt
    We’ve expected so much
    Out of you
    You gave and you gave
    And now you are our
    Slave
    We’ve polluted you
    A little too much by
    Taken you for granted
    Your tears are our floods
    Your sadness is the melting
    Ice caps
What can we do to make you
    Healthy again
    Your pain is our to
    Cross bare
    Just breathe
