HEART’S

OUR DAILY WISDOM WORD TODAY IS: HEART’S. WHY AM I CHOOSING THIS WORD?  I MUST SAY OUR WORLD IS IN GREAT NEED OF HEART’S AND THEIR INTER-CONNECTION WITH ANOTHER’S.  WE HAVE PLENTY OF GREAT MINDS, AND STONG OPINIONS IN THE MIX WORKING OVERTIME.   WHERE HAVE OUR HEART’S GONE? DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, SHOULDN’T HEARTS BE IMPORTANT LEADING WITH LOVE?

When we use our heart we have a vision that is completely different than when we use our minds.  We are in the Holiday Season. Sadly, most of us can’t even see our friends and family due to our current pandemic situation. If you would had asked the scientists fighting so very hard to develop a vaccine for this deadly virus just one year ago not impacting any of us, would they say they used their heart or mind?  My guess would be heart first, intelligence next.  They had  to be using more heart than vision and mind. It took plenty of intelligence but it was working from their hearts they found the energy, strength, compassion and view of its importance for all of mankind.

We were full of hope and optimism without the knowledge of a virus that would cause millions to get sick, and many die this year during the holiday season just one year ago!  We need our heart’s now more than ever.  A heart is where our passion and love, compassion and empathy come from. I would think in many of the cases we have seen added into death tolls and people sick, we would see more hearts giving much more love.  Instead we only see more division.  I don’t like to bring politics into any mix but I will say I don’t believe the leader of the United States of America is operating out of heart currently.  He is operating out of a sheer inability to accept defeat and loss.   I am one who doesn’t accept defeat easily myself, so I do understand to a degree, but then again, I don’t represent my country.

The best we can do or be is to “be the example through our actions we wish to set for others”.  It is what we do when we raise our children or the best we can hope to do.  Having and operating with heart means putting love ahead of loss and defeat;  not so much self-love but a genuine love and compassion for others.   Do you think we need more great minds in the mix right now, or “heart’s beating and feeling?”  I know what my answer is and hope this holiday season whether you agree with your neighbor’s opinion or not, you will operate first and foremost with your heart.  What does our heart do?  Our heart loves, full of compassion and empathy full and does every action first, from a position of love.

When was the last time you asked yourself how you were feeling or checked your heartbeat?  Is it strong and sound, placing love above all else or is it operating behind your opinion leaving you filled with division from some and unity with only those who agree with you?  It is time to get it together, people. It is not just you, but me.

I am just as guilty placing opinion before heart, deciding who and what I will discuss and why I feel so strongly about my opinions.  In the end, if today were my last day on earth and it was my day for judgement to be passed to me, would I be more concerned with a healthy heart or a healthy opinion?  It is not from “sheer intelligence” these scientists came up with a vaccine what is at the very least a miracle to this deadly virus.  They wanted first and foremost to save lives.

This energy and passion did not come from their minds although of course their intelligence played second to having heart displayed in all their actions.  They did what they did out of the goodness of their heart first and foremost doing without sleep, working day and night, in the fight to save human lives.  Do you think their strength came from their mind or from their HEARTS?   Just for fun, we will take a look at the definition of hearts in our Webster Dictionary.

Webster Definition of hearts-1. Heart’s-something someone wants very much.  2.  The central or innermost part of something.  a hollow muscular organ that pumps the blood through the circulatory system by rhythmic contraction and dilation.

Daily Wisdom Word Definition-1.  The heart is the center of physical and spiritual being, and is filled with love, passion and blood or the process it takes to circulate blood or emotions such as love and passion.  This is why it has four chambers in a human.  1.  love 2.  passion 3.  hope  4.  capacity of empathy and compassion.  PLEASE EVERYONE, PULL TOGETHER THIS HOLIDAY SEASON IN HEART EVEN IF YOU CAN’T IN DISTANCE.  REMEMBER EVERYTHING HAS A BEGINNING AND END.  LET YOUR ENDING BE REMEMBERED AS A PERSON WHO HAD HEART AND PASSION IN EVERYTHING THEY FELT WITH AND THEIR ACTIONS TOWARDS OTHERS.  HAPPY HEART-I-DAYS, OR HOLIDAYS.

BENEVOLENCE “KINDNESS MATTERS”

BENEVOLENCE IS DESPERATELY NEEDED IN TODAY’S WORLD.  WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE KIND AND BENEVOLENT WITH OTHERS, BUT ARE WE?  Do we show kindness from our heart towards others? Are we kind to our family?  are we kind and benevolent with strangers?  Before going any further, let us take a look at the definition of Benevolence.

Webster Definition of benevolence-1.  The quality of being well-meaning;  kindness.

Daily Wisdom Word Definition of benevolence-being kind, having good intentions with others.

When we live in a country divided, we find less kindness or benevolence used in our treatment toward others.   We in fact find quite the opposite happening.  How sad for the elected official who sat alone with her child inside her home finding protesters outside of her house late at night having them outside.  What about the death threats with elected officials who have everything to lose when their lives are threatened and they have to request police protection?  We are under the detriment of a pandemic and kindness is a necessity to the sick and poor and quite simply, mankind.  Many of us are sick and need encouragement and benevolence to continue fighting all illness.  Human Beings need to be “touched”.  Being touched is not encouraged with a raging pandemic.  In fact, advice for us to remain safe is to socially distance, not because we want to, but because we HAVE TO to remain safe and well.

We are in the middle of the holiday season as well.  Most of us experience sentimental feelings for those we have lost touch with and loved in our lifetime.  This is my first year without my sister.  Talking with her daughters, (my nieces), going through it during the holidays without their mother is very difficult for them.  I only want happiness for them and I feel their pain.  We all need more benevolence, empathy and yes, KINDNESS DOES MATTER!  Find it in your heart despite how or what you believe in to be benevolent towards others with your words and actions.  Love each other, and remember: we are all suffering through this pandemic together.  the more we separate and are unkind, the weaker we become.  Do you want to be a person who is kind, benevolent and empathetic or put simply, controversial and evil?

Place the disagreement and political bias on the sidelines no matter what side of the fence you are on. I feel so sad when I see so much evil in this world.  Why do we disrespect our own democracy, and when we do, does this mean we should disrespect those who don’t agree with us?  I have NEVER EVER seen our country in this kind of chaos.  One has to ask themselves how important are our opinions and if they aren’t cohesive with another’s viewpoint, how far do we take it when the two viewpoints clash?  We need to exercise love and benevolence towards others.

If  others don’t agree with us, should we isolate the people who disagree with our opinions and stand apart from these individuals?  Somehow does this make them “less than us” because they don’t have the same beliefs we do?  We need to be productive with our energy so why use it to exercise evil towards others even only in attitude?  We all have the right to our own opinion.  What we do not have the right to do is force those beliefs or opinions on others.  It is time to ask ourselves, if we have a leader in any capacity who encourages division rather than unity, is this positive or productive?  Are we fighting for what we believe in if the factual evidence is information we doubt and ultimately, is it worth it? At what point do we accept what is going to be even if it is not what we want?  Do we perhaps set aside some differences that can’t be changed for the greater good of mankind?  These are big questions requiring a big heart and honesty to answer.  IS the greater good for all of us in this country served best with division or unity and just HOW IMPORTANT should it be when our beliefs are different than our neighbors?  I would love your answers to these questions.  We have a comments section beneath this post to “Join the Discussion”.  Please do.  Samantha LeBoeuf-Founder       dailywisdomwords.com
