I wrote an article yesterday about fear and i think you should read it. Maybe when you do, you may be able to write a poem today.

Bone deep scars
pain wrought
in facade of lies
loyalty misplaced
with bare disgrace
strenght n emotions
ditched to shreds
as night shifts
darkness feeds
on the fear that creeps
shadows stare
in grey despair
weary for the
lonely who weeps.
Afraid of shadow most of life
didn’t understand what haunted me nights
movement of patterns on the wall
fear of nothing at all
fighting self; lifelong battle
candle lit for inner child
tried to choose a side less wild
lessons learned; life O’ strife
embrace shadow & light; whole
For a moment there, I thought It was my poem…
Lovely poem. Love your diction and use of punctuation. Keep it up
In the dark
My mind plays tricks
Pitch dark
No moon, no stars
Frightful is the night
Looking over my shoulder
Looking round every corner

POEM BY KARL WOMACK
She feared the darkness yet it was deeply inside
harbored like a small vessel running from the tide
it had been so long since she stored the hurt
sometimes it would ride her emotions like clouds in the sky
tossing her about as if she was a fish in a hurricane
leaving her empty and drained.
Trying to find love and leave the pain behind
but first in order to find love she had to leave the hurt
and love the scared little girl inside. – Ad (CRG)
True…well pressed like fine wine. I’d love to feature this poem on my podcast…that’s If you don’t mind. What’s the title?
