I love a flower,
i stretch my hand
and touch his soft leaves
and it sends me a sweet smell.
it’s a tacit love,
in the sense of wonder
we found in each other,
secret signals from another life
that bring poetry to my heart.
I love a flower too, Alexis. Pray for Samantha and pray for the DWW website, We need a miracle right now to keep perpetrating all this beauty,
Thank you Shirley! i Pray for Samantha and pray for all the people. Can i do something to help?
Wow Alexis, what a deeply beautiful, special poem. And you are special too as I see sadness in your eyes.
You know I have been writing about the great Greek writers of the past for my blog posts. But this Saturday I am writing about the great writers and poets of the present day. So would you mind if I make mention of you in my blog. You are such a sublime spiritual poet unlike so many other new Greek poets I’ve been reading who are so disheartened by the austerity measures of you presented government while you bring a softer more beautiful element to your writings than the rest I read.
My own life has been fraught with pain and poverty in the past, but I love a flower too. For it always mitigates the pain when you touch a flower, and flowers grow in the fields for free.
Let me know if I can make mention of you. Greece needs poets like you. The world needs you.
I
Shirley! What can i say for you? You’re so generous. You touch me deeply with your words but at the same time i’m happy that there are such people as you. You’re right about the situation in Greece, there is frustration and despair, It would be great if you mentioned me in your blog, it will be my honor!
Thank you so much again and again.
The next poem for you, dedicated with all my love!!
