It is no news that yesterday was Good Friday. The mind of the whole world was on Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. He died and is risen just to redeem us from sin. Do you love Him? I love him. He is always on mind: when I wake, eat, sleep and do anything. In fact, my signature sentence is “Thank you Jesus”. I say this because I know what He did and still does to keep you and me alive and well.
I would have played the many Easter songs I am familiar with but I do not want you to miss this amazing tune today. May be tomorrow I will play an Easter song. You could actually suggest a song by leaving a comment below. I always appreciate your suggestions.
Always on my mind by Willie Nelson is the song we get to listen to today. Participating here is quite easy. Yes! You knew me at the start
perhaps I didn’t realize
love was always here
maybe I didn’t know you.
We’ve walked together
all these lonely roads
and I never told you
you live in my mind.
Days have turned dark
our path has grown over
you always find my eyes
maybe I knew you after all.

You are always on my mind
Always on my mind
We were on the same path
But it was forbidden
A wave ridden
We both suffered injustices
Both abused
Now I have the heartbreak

POEM BY KARL WOMACK
Many nights after she’d left
he picked her up, thumb out
a glisten of tears in his eyes
looked at her and sighed
“There you are Ad
you know you’re always on my mind”
the rest of the song could not come
cause she’d left a long time ago
yet still, she was always on his mind. -Amberdawn (CRG)
I still will repeat what I said earlier and I’m sure many people here will agree with me when I say that your poems always tell a story. One that many would want to picture. And then, the way you end your poems! Superb…
I close my eyes
And there you are
Always on my mind
And in my heart
You’ve taken care
Of me from the start
When life get tough
You offer me a piece
Of your heart
Some people call you
Jesus I call you my universe
Just Breathe
Hmmmm…I know Jesus would be smiling at your poem and say “Weldone my child”. I love it. Your signature came with the punch. Two snaps for you Reenie.
One more hour to the show I told you about. Just praying they read your poem on National TV.
Thank you my dear friend! Your the best!
