MORNING AND COFFEE

Hey,

Have you heard of coffee? That’s a funny and stupid question right? I guess you’re probably taking one right now or maybe you having another cup.

Anyways, coffee is a phenomenal drink many people cannot do without and I’d like us to talk about it poetically today on DWW PICTURE POETRY.

Tell me how this phenomenal drink has helped you so far.

  1. COFFEE
    I thought I’d miss you
    But I don’t.
You used to greet me every morning
    With the same
    Warm embrace,
    Wrapping me in something familiar
    And comfortable.
And I thought I’d miss that.
    Turns out water is delicious
    And tea is warm
    And curls
    Around my stomach like
    You used to.

  2. Morning starts
    as I throw
    my alarm clock
    across the room
    I can smell the
    coffee brewing
    I have
    my husband
    trained to
    bring me my
    first cup
    of the day
    I’m a lucky lady
    what about you ?
    Morning coffee’
    Is the best drink
    for me
    Well maybe
    except a
    a glass
    of wine
    at the end
    of the day
    too

Just a fun silly poem for today- awhile I’m the doctors waiting room. Love you Sam and a Abuh ☮️💟

  3. Morning dew tastes my lips
    your Arabian Sanani heat
    tripping Jamaician Blue fantastic
    we sheet ourselves for coffee.

    Barefooting on Kenyian wood
    we kama sutra bodies
    intelligentsia heats our minds
    climaxing liquid lavazza.

Awake now we clothe the day
    inhaling lingering fumes
    galactic black, no sugar
    we make our own.

    • Hahahaha… you’ve described poetically how you take coffee every morning…
It’s a good write my friend…and I can sense the care employed in your diction.

  4. Aromatic smell of
    coffee thrills the air
    as morning snooze
    to a melodious tune
    the sun splash in
    raptures of scents
    i welcome the
    idleness of a
    sweet caress.
