ghostly feelings
of contrition
listen to the
unquiet thoughts of
a whimpering heart
when dusk settles
under a beauteous moon
let it pour this gentle rain
incline to wash the pain.

Skies steal our breath
the traveller’s daughter dances
through tears of rain on
mountains of the moon.
Who will hold us now
as days begone remind
her gentle kind
sweet kiss we loved.
Waves of clouds paint
such reveries we play
till skies clear our hearts
we’re lost & found again.
