ROMANCE AND LOVE

Which one comesΒ  before the other? Love or Romance?

Welcome to DWW PICTURE POETRY. Here, we write poems based on what we see.

Look at the picture. What do you see?

You know, love as well as romance has been misconstrued over the years. It is gradually going out of it’s original context which to me is unfair.

I’m no Cupid, so I will let you do the talking in a poem:

  1. You taste my words
    laughing in their play
    on lips mysterious
    glittering in your brilliance.

    We samba into dawn
    hungry for emotional zest
    magnetic eyes glisten
    debating brazen appetites.

    Satisfaction cools the day
    we samba sunlit skies
    relishing our memories
    like sweet dolce spice.

  2. Sweet love doesn’t begin with romancing
back up join me in deep reflection
look within memory mirror; open eye
    what do U see dear?
    infinity
    catches U when U fall
would go through anything at all
    romance sweet cherry on top
    passionate kisses so delicious
    True love dreams come true
    me you
    true

  3. I will wait forever for your passion,
    connected together
    I commit to you
    joined- bound to never entangle
    my love with another
    Your are the other
    Half of me
    A soulmate
    As I vow to
    Always love you
    Only you as
    I melt into
    Your passion
    Our souls
    Become one

  4. Warmth spreads
    love consents in a
    breath of romance
    she is the missing prose
    of a summer’s dawn
    playing verses
    with his musical heart
    her beauty is a
    certain sonnet
    lyrical pausing moments
    in nature’s own sentiments
    as real joy flirts
    picturesque amongst flowers .

  5. Romance
She pretends to draw on your face
She sprays fresh cream on your forehead
    You share fun and laughter
    She’s so beautiful
    She strokes your face
    You see her smile
    It’s all you wanted
    You fall in love
