So, in the sweet spirit of sharing, loving, and caring i asked a friend if she could suggest a song for today’s music prompt and she willingly suggested this song which i love with all of my being. In fact, i had to download two of the duo’s album yesterday.

First off, the imagery at play in the poem is epic. It appeals to my senses. These are lines I was talking about:

Relentless spacetime wields
yesterday’s apocalypse
our moments alone under
strange sun’s haunting gaze.
Wild astonishment shadows
as we walk upon new roads
where should we go when
one hand clapping is silenced.
We struggle making days
direction’s mirror clouded
leaving us distracted
no where left to go.
