Isn’t it funny and a bit cruel how we dismiss things when a better version of it comes up?
The times are different. Different innovation roam the surface of the earth leaving the things we knew to beg for use.
I told myself that I wasn’t going to ask this question but I’m sure going to ask at this point: do you still use a lantern?
Or have you like this time and age relegated it to a warehouse? At this point, I see myself as the lantern. And the answer is quite simple.
Let’s talk about it.

Faith, love & grace
put away childish fears
time has lasted seems to me an eternity
waiting we have for many years
for savior our Lord to wipe our tears
still we wait day & night
lanterns lit, love in heart
waiting for summer to start
good things come in time to those who wait

Far past slumber hours
through specs of time
solitude i found
on nightly walks
as lantern lights
paved the streets
it’s all about perspectives
incandescent beauty
with earthly meaning
intrusion of soft breeze
silky stillness on my skin
far above clouds
luminous is the sky
Silky stillness on my skin…
That’s one lovely line you have there… keep it up ๐
Laniakea lanterns our vast path
through time ancient and anew
candelabraing our delight
as children of the sun.
We venture across in wonder
capacious minds tinkering
every age finds marvels
till they lose their shine.
How will our sojourn complete
as time winds down our clock
brilliant light we share
a love we’ll never leave.
Loving this so lovely ๐๐
Thank you, mon chou.

Lantern and crime
Is there no sign
Countries across the world
There is no future
Look how politicians treat us
No one understands us
I thought disabled and able bodied could live in peace
