YOU CALL THEM MEMORIES BY ABUH MONDAY ENEOJO

It was really about how the valuable memories of a person- living or dead- has great value than the actual person. You think it’s weird, right? It may be but that is what I felt. As weird as it may seem or sound to you right now, I still cannot say that the feel I had is mutual. That would be very illogical. You may have your own contrary opinion. I’d like for you to preen at the lines and tell me what you think about it.

You call them memories
when I called her baby
even as she abandoned me
snowfall melting in the sun

Do you remember mine
building castles in the sand
summering tomorrows
forever moments

I call them memories
when she called me honey
even as we’re lost
rewriting our yesterdays over
