BY FRIENDS AND RESCUERS WHO FOUND HER CAR, WITH WALLET, CASH, CREDIT CARDS AND PASSPORT AND HER CLOTHES ON THE BEACH ALONG WITH HER KEYS. WHAT CAME TO LIGHT DURING THIS SEARCH WAS HANNAH HAD GONE MISSING YEARS BEFORE, IN NEW YORK CITY, STATEN ISLAND, ONCE FOR A MONTH AND AGAIN IN WATER AND ONCE IN WATER RESCUED WHEN ALMOST DROWNING AFTER EIGHT DAYS. HANNAH UP SUFFERED WITH A RARE MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION KNOW AS A “FUGUE” STATE. THIS IS A VERY REAL AND SERIOUS CONDITION AND WHEN THE REAL SELF TAKES OVER AGAIN, HAS NO MEMORY OF THE ALTERNATE PERSONALITY AND ACTIONS DURING THE PERIOD MISSING OR TIME ELAPSED DURING AN EPISODE. THE FIRST INCIDENCE WAS THREE WEEKS, AND SECOND, A LITTLE OVER A WEEK. ALL THREE INCIDENTS OCCURRED NEAR OR IN WATER AND ALL THREE INCIDENTS AROUND THE SAME TIME OF YEAR, EARLY FALL.
