This is something my counselor and I recently talked about in a grueling session. For new readers that may not know, I have clinical depression and have been seeing a counselor years.

This is something my counselor and I recently talked about in a grueling session. For new readers that may not know, I have clinical depression and have been seeing a counselor years.
This past Monday, I had a particularly gruelling, but ultimately rewarding, session with him. Our main topic was perception of four words that may seem either negative or insignificant.
Those four words are accept, believe, breathe and live. I’m sure all of us have certain pre-conceived notions about each of those words. But what if we looked at them in a different light?
𝔸ℂℂ𝔼ℙ𝕋: There are certain ways of the universe which we can never change. What we can change is our perception of acceptance. As today’s quote says, accepting is NOT defeat, it’s adding layers of intimacy with the universe or a higher power and getting more acquainted with them. In every successful relationship, there is give and take. Why should a relationship with God be any different?
𝔹𝔼𝕃𝕀𝔼𝕍𝔼: Not being in control doesn’t always equate to suffering. The universe or God is not out to personally gets you. Rather, they want to nurture you and help you build survival skills for both the good AND the bad. Believe that every bad experience will teach you something and help you in the future.
𝔹ℝ𝔼𝔸𝕋ℍ𝔼: “Hey! Pay more attention to me. I am keeping you alive after all.” Or so your breathing might be saying when you’re panicking or having an anxiety attack. In those moments, just take a minute to calm your breath down (& not the other way around). Stop it from running too fast by holding it back & then releasing it gently.
𝕃𝕀𝕍𝔼: You were sent here as a human being & not a robot for a reason. You’re meant to live. Take full advantage of it. Don’t squander that right.

WE ALL HAVE WISHES…..WE ALL HAVE WISHES ABOUT SPECIFIC THINGS THAT HOLD MEANING IN THE WORLD TO US. PERHAPS, IT IS A GOOD TIME TO TALK ABOUT WISHES AND MEANINGS BEHIND THEM. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT COVID-19 HAS REPRIORITIZED THINGS FOR ALL OF US. WHAT WE ONCE WISHED FOR HAS BECOME MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL AND REAL AND SIMPLER. I THINK WE ALL WISH OUR LOVED ONES GOOD HEALTH AND WISH SO MUCH AT A TIME LIKE THIS WE COULD BE WITH THEM WHEN THEY LIVE OUT OF STATE.
IT IS A GREAT TIME TO COUNT OUR BLESSINGS, AND I WISH ALL OF YOU THE PEACE TO DO THE SAME AND AND TREASURE WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN LIFE. EACH DAY RUNS INTO ANOTHER NOW, AS WE DO OUR BEST TO AVOID GOING OUT TOO MUCH, DUE TO THIS DREADFUL VIRUS. NOW THERE ARE VARIOUS MUTATIONS OF IT. SO FAR, WE ARE LUCKY THAT THE VACCINES WE HAVE DEVELOPED STILL ARE WORKING ON THE NEW STRAINS OF THIS VIRUS. I WISH FOR ALL OF US TO GET IMMUNIZED PROPERLY MEANING GET BOTH DOSES. SADLY, WITH THE HUGE RUSH TO CREATE THE VACCINE, AND GET IT INTO PRODUCTION, WE HAVEN’T THOUGHT ABOUT DISTRIBUTION AS MUCH AS WE SHOULD.
MY WISH FOR THE WORLD IS ENOUGH OF US TO OBTAIN VACCINATIONS AGAINST COVID AND DEVELOP HERD IMMUNITY. LET US TAKE A LOOK AT THE DEFINITION OF WISHES IN OUR WEBSTER DICTIONARY AND OUR DAILY WISDOM WORD DEFINITION.
WEBSTER DEFINITION OF WISHES-1. TO FEEL OR EXPRESS A STRONG DESIRE OR HOPE FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT EASILY OBTAINABLE, WANT SOMETHING THAT CANNOT OR PROBABLY WON’T TAKE PLACE. 2. SILENTLY INVOKE A HOPE OR DESIRE, ESPECIALLY IN A RITUALISTIC WAY.
DAILY WISDOM WORD DEFINITION OF WISHES-1. THE HOPES AND DREAMS WE ALL HAVE, THAT WILL NOT PROBABLY HAPPEN UNLESS WE TAKE ACTION TO HELP THEM TO COME TRUE. I THINK WHEN THINGS GET SERIOUS LIKE RECENT WORLD EVENTS, WITH COVID, AND THE CAPITOL’S VIOLENCE PROTESTERS, WHAT WE WISH FOR, IS NOT TO BE A MILLIONAIRE BUT TO LIVE IN A WORLD OF PEACE. I THINK THAT IT IS VITAL TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE. WE NEED TO LOVE THOSE WHO ARE OUR LOVED ONES. WE NEED TO TREASURE THAT WHICH WE WOULD LEAVE BEHIND IF WE WERE TO DIE TODAY. WE NEED TO GIVE OF OURSELVES IN THE WAYS WE ARE ABLE. WE NEED TO WISH FOR THAT WHICH SEEMS UNATTAINABLE AT THE MOMENT BUT WILL NOT BE IN THE FUTURE. IT IS HARD TO KEEP HOPE UP AND DREAMS ALIVE WITH THE CONDITIONS AROUND THE WORLD RIGHT NOW. I NEVER DREAMED I WOULD SEE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BE SO BEHIND WITH TECHNOLOGY, KNOWLEDGE, VACCINE DISTRIBUTION, WORLD PLANS, AND STARVING CITIZENS. I AM THANKFUL FOR THE RECENT STIMULUS PACKAGE BUT IT DOES NOT CHANGE WORLD EVENTS. IT SIMPLY ALLOWS US TO COPE.
I CANT TELL YOU WHAT TO WISH FOR. I CAN ONLY SAY THAT MY WISH FOR YOU IS TO BE IN LESS ANGUISH, PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. MY WISH FOR YOU IS TO BE HEALTHY. FINALLY, MY BIGGEST WISH RIGHT NOW IS TO SEE OUR WORLD EXPERIENCE PEACE AMONG OUR CITIZENS. I ASK FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME OTHER COUNTRIES PRAY FOR US. WE LIVE IN A NATION FULL OF DISCORD, SEPARATION, AND ANGER. I NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD HAVE OUR OWN BRAND OF CIVIL WAR IN TODAY’S AGE AND TIME. I THOUGHT THOSE THINGS WERE HISTORY FOR THE UNITED STATES. NO, WE ARE MAKING HISTORY ALL OVER AGAIN ONLY PROVING THAT HISTORY DOES ACTUALLY REPEAT ITSELF. MOST OF ALL, I WISH YOUR HEART TO VACATE HATE FOR LOVE, REPLACE ANGER WITH COMPASSION AND PRIORITIZE THAT WHICH TRULY IS IMPORTANT. What does divinity mean and how does it inspire hope and faith when its lacking in our lives with a higher power or who I call, “God”? If you’re feeling discouraged or depressed or lonely, for any reason, this daily wisdom word, DIVINITY, will be a very positive article to read.
Before we go any further, let us take a look at the meaning of divinity in our Webster Dictionary and how daily wisdom words defines it.
Webster Definition of Divinity-1. of, from or like God. Devotion to God; Sacred. 2. providence of God.
Daily Wisdom Word Definition of Divinity-The ability to have faith in what is divine. To myself, this would be God.
Daily Wisdom Words, is not a Christian post. However, It is a spiritual one. I myself, am Christian and am not ashamed to admit it. In fact, I am proud of it, but I also believe we have no right to force others to have the same kind of faith as we do. I also believe we all need to have faith in something. Life catches us at many different crossroads.
Sometimes, things are going great in our lives. We just got the perfect job, we have found love, and we are at a good place mentally. However there are the sad times in life, too. This is when faith is so important in our life. Without faith,and divinity, we would have a very hard time believing that we could get through these bad times. Divinity is defined as “Of God.”
Divinity and Hope help us to understand life will get better when we are struggling. We will struggle, fall, scratch ourselves, have our hearts broken, go through financial hardship, physical pain and mental anguish at some point in our lives. All of those hard, difficult times will also develop strength and character from the lessons we will learn from these times. The beauty of divinity and faith, is having not only yourself to lean on, during the difficult times, but God, as well. God is a best friend. You may refer to God as your higher power, or Allah, and He is just another tool in our “tool box for life”.
You may be reading this post at the very time you need it. I believe, just as we will suffer those bad times, the more faith and divinity we have, the faster we will get back to a good place or recover from the hard times. When we have gone without something we need or had love when we need it, we have felt loneliness. When our hearts get broken, we feel we are lonely because we loved another human being. Being a person with divinity, will not guarantee you will return to, for example, being rich, if that is what you’ve lost or if you will find love again. What faith and divinity do guarantee is you will make it through the bad times, and that new doors will open. If you are at a healthy place with yourself, your far more likely to find new love, a new job, or more fulfilling thing in your life than you had before.
We all have “expectations” of what our life will and should be like. If we have faith and believe in Divinity, we come to the realization that what our plans are for our lives may not be God’s. That does NOT mean that it won’t be as happy or happier with how life turns out as you look back on it.
Even if we could draw out our “perfect life”, we would want to have strong instincts and intuition to guide us to let us know what direction to go. I believe that “inner voice and feeling” we have when we are using these two gifts are gifts given to us from God.
If you’re an atheist (Don’t believe in God) or agnostic, (aren’t sure what you believe yet), You may still find value in this post on divinity. Perhaps it may leave you with questions about your own beliefs, or lead you to a place that makes you ask questions you still don’t have the answers for. It is never a mistake to ask yourself questions and challenge yourself. It is what helps us to grow. Believing in divinity (of God) does make it easier to cope with life, because you have something bigger than yourself to believe in during the hard times.
Life is better when it leaves us with less insecurity to handle it, and all of us would agree with these odds. Thanks so much for reading on Divinity today. Do you believe in miracles, and what exactly are they? Let’s first take a look at their meaning in our Webster Dictionary.
Miracles-1. A surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency. 2. A highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences. 3. an amazing product or achievement, or an outstanding example of something.
Daily Wisdom Word Definition of Miracles-extraordinary events that cannot be explained by normal circumstances or events.
I believe in miracles, still. I think when your a child, you have far less negative experiences experienced, and are still quite idealistic in your thinking. This is why we can believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny, ETC., and this is the kind of belief system you still have to have to believe in miracles.
Miracles happen every day. However, it is our perception through our own negative visions that cause us not to see them. Perhaps it is an extra day of life for someone that was supposed to have died long ago due to illness. A miracle occurs when we make a conscious choice to believe in something bigger than ourselves such as the Lord. You see, we cannot see, hear, touch or taste the Lord with our senses. However, our conscience and soul and heart know he is there. This is the kind of perception we need to believe in miracles.
Miracles are magic, but possible just the same. It is your own insight that determines if you can believe in miracles. Miracles are missed everyday as well. Why? Because we overlook the little ones, refusing to calculate the scientific odds of a specific event that has happened. This event has unrealistic odds at best. Yet, it does happen in our lives.
Learn to believe in the unseen. Miracles are created in the unseen, and witnessed and experienced in our world, after they are created. Learn to simply believe.
